At Police Modern School, we believe that education is the foundation for building responsible, confident, and successful individuals. Our teaching philosophy focuses on academic excellence, discipline, creativity, and moral values to help every student achieve their highest potential.
Successful teaching goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We strive to create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities. Our dedicated teachers focus on nurturing knowledge, character, leadership, and life skills through innovative and student-centered learning methods.
Our vision is to provide quality education that inspires young minds to become disciplined, knowledgeable, and responsible citizens. We aim to create a learning community where students grow academically, socially, and morally while preparing themselves for future challenges and opportunities.
Our mission is to deliver holistic education through excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, discipline, and values. We are committed to fostering creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and a spirit of service among students, enabling them to contribute positively to society and the nation.
Police Modern School was established in the academic session 1993–1994 with the vision of providing quality education to the children of police personnel as well as civilian students. The school was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav.
In 1995–96, through the inspiration and dedicated efforts of Mrs. Shashi Arun, wife of the then Additional Director General, PAC, Sri Ram Arun, the concept of Police Modern School expanded steadily across various battalions and districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The institution is managed by the society known as Uttar Pradesh Police Shiksha Samitee through the educational fund called “Uttar Pradesh Police Shiksha Kosh.” This fund is generated through a small monthly contribution of Rs. 10 from police personnel, popularly known as “Ansh Daan.”

Beginning with only 42 students at the primary level, the school witnessed remarkable growth over the years. It was upgraded to High School level in 1998–99 and further elevated to Intermediate level in 2000–01 with Science and Commerce streams. To ensure effective administration and smooth functioning, the school operates through a Central Directed Board at the central level and Local Management Committees at the local level.
